Mapperley

Mapperley is a conservation area and is one of Nottingham’s most prestigious residential locations. It is located just under 2 miles away from the city centre. There are 3 main areas: Mapperley, Mapperley Park and Mapperley Plains.

This area is known for it’s tree lined roads with large old houses and multiple open park areas which are especially popular in the summer. The Mapperley is a designated conservation area and as such will not change it’s appearance.

This area is especially popular amongst medical staff due to it being located in close proximity to the Queens Medical Centre and the City Hospital. There are also many bars, pubs and restaurants in the area and it is close to the shopping centres of Carrington and Sherwood as well having easy access to Nottingham’s city centre.
